US Department of Veteran Affairs  This link provides information on VA healthcare, benefits, burial and memorials, etc.  Veterans can schedule appointments with the VA through this site.

Explore the VA  This link is part of the US Department of Veteran Affairs, but this site helps the veteran navigate the various service he/she may be entitled to receive.

Disability Compensation  This site describes two ways to apply for disability compensation.  It states the requirements and describes the application process.  It also has a section on requesting an increase in disability compensation.

Health Care    This site describes four ways to apply for VA health care.  It lists the requirements necessary to obtain health care and provides tools to help veterans apply.

Memorial Benefits  This site provides a way to check for eligibility then to apply for veteran burials and cemetery plots as well as grave stones.

Education and Training  This site provides four ways to apply for education and training.  It explains benefits available in this area, sets forth requirements, and provides applications.

Home Loans  This site provides three ways to apply for housing loans and benefits.  It addresses help offered to specific types of veterans, sets forth requirements, and provides applications.

Pension  This site describes three types of pensions that veterans or their families may be eligible to have.  It also sets forth requirements and describes the application process.

Employment  This site does not list jobs or provide jobs, but it does help veterans obtain additional training or education and provides job-search tools, such as resume writing.

Life Insurance  This site helps veterans obtain life insurance.  There are several options available and some insurance for special needs veterans.  It also provide a list of requirements and a description of the application process.

Spouses, Dependents and Survivors  This site provides information for spouses, dependents, and survivors of veterans in all of the areas listed above.  It describes eligibility requirements and helps with the application process.
